GENERAL MEMBERSHIP

In order to participate in any of the General Membership Virtual Meetings, you must be registered.

You must submit the Tribal Member Information Verification / Attestation Card to become registered. You only need to submit the card to register once, unless your contact information has changed.

We also need the following:

1. Print and completely fill out the card on both sides including your Tribal Roll # and Signature.

2. Scan or take a picture of both sides of the card and send it back to gmreg@wampanoagtribe-nsn.gov

Please ensure that your information is legible.

If you have already returned your verification form, you do not have to register again.


NATURAL RESOURCES

Opportunity of Public Comment: Section 319 – Non-Point Source Pollution Management Plan

The Natural Resources Department, with help from Normandeau and Associates, Inc, has completed the final draft of the Section 319 – Non-Point Source Pollution Assessment and Management Plan. Once approved by Tribal Council and the EPA, having this plan in place allows us to be eligible for future funding for projects related to stormwater management.

The opportunity for public comment from Tribal members is open from November 1, 2020 t0 December 1, 2020. If any Tribal member wishes to receive a copy of the draft plan, please contact Bret Stearns, Indirect Services Administrator, at isa@wampanoagtribe-nsn.gov, or Beckie Finn, Environmental Programs Coordinator – envcoord@ wampanoagtribe-nsn.gov. 508-645-9265.


HOUSING AUTHORITY

Notice of Intent to Construct Housing Under the ICDBG-CARES Act Funding PIH Notice 2020-11

The Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah), through its duly authorized Tribal Designated Housing Entity, the Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribal Housing Authority, intends to submit an application on behalf of the Tribe to construct tribal housing on its Tribal Trust Lands, through a grant provided by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Indian Community Development Block Grant - CARES Act. The Housing Authority has provided a 30-day comment window for Tribal Citizens to provide additional comments.
